QGC is a leading coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on establishing the world’s first project to convert coal seam gas into liquefied natural gas – a cleaner hydrocarbon, for domestic and international customers. Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) will employ thousands of people and provide a A$32 billion boost to Queensland’s economy.
QGC is wholly owned by BG Group, a leading player in the global energy market, with operations in more than 20 countries over five continents. The extensive coal seam gas experience of QGC and the LNG production expertise of BG Group are being applied to QCLNG, one of Australia’s largest capital infrastructure projects.
