Rotations may include:
- Working on directional, operational or strategic-level policy
- Event or media coordination
- Analysis of military capability and force requirements and structure
- Intelligence assessment
- Personnel planning and research
- Involvement in high-level budgeting and submissions to Cabinet
- Project management
