Banking & Finance
GE is a global infrastructure, finance and media company with over 300,000 employees spanning 100 countries worldwide. GE Australia and New Zealand employs around 5,600 people and operates through four business segments (Technology Infrastructure, Energy, Capital and NBC Universal) servicing an array of diverse markets and customers.
GE’s graduate programs are designed for exceptional university students who seek outstanding training. GE graduates work closely with GE’s most senior personnel, giving them access to guidance & a broad range of career development opportunities.
Unlike other firms with large intakes & high turnovers, GE in Australia and New Zealand accepts smaller groups of graduates annually into each of its leadership programs. This means we’re able to invest more time, allowing us to focus keenly on the development of each individual. It’s no coincidence that a lot of the GE leaders of today are graduates from one of the following global graduate programs that may be offered each year: Financial Management Program (FMP), Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP), Risk Management Program (RMP), and Engineering Graduate Program (EGP).
The programs centre on a comprehensive rotation policy, which allows graduates to gain hands-on experience and training across a wide range of challenging projects and areas within the business. The programs may require travel for rotations interstate and/or training overseas.
The current FMP graduates have completed rotations in several Australian capital cities as well as in Singapore & the USA. As part of the IMLP, graduates from around the globe attend two IT training conferences overseas.
