SMEC is an Australian-owned professional services organisation that has been providing engineering and development consultancy services within Australia and internationally for over 40 years. SMEC has over 4,000 employees in 33 offices around the world; eight in Australia (Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Cooma, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney and Townsville) and 25 internationally in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
