TransGrid’s Graduate Program
Our Graduate Development Program recently received a highly commended in the NSW Engineering Excellence Award. It provides on the job learning in the disciplines of Engineering, Accounting and Business. In addition to the Graduate Development Program, we also offer an Undergraduate Work Experience Program to undergraduate students in the above mentioned disciplines.
Electrical engineers can work in areas such as Network Planning, System Operations, Assets Management, Design and Project Management. Civil engineers can work between Design and Project Management. Business graduates may work in areas such as Human Resources and Communications. Accountants can work in areas such as Financial Management, Management Accounting, Audit and Accounting IT systems.
Graduate placements are available in Sydney CBD, Western Sydney, Newcastle, Yass and Wagga Wagga.

Training & Development
TransGrid’s graduates are provided with a structured training and development program including:
- Rotation to a new placement at least every 12 months

- Workplace seminars and access to external conferences on relevant and interesting industry news
- Support to attain CPA (Accounts) or CPEng (Engineers)
- Generous study assistance for post-graduate studies.
