When should you start applying for graduate programs?

Graduate programs are predominantly open for application between mid February to late April. Some will start earlier and close as late as early June so don't think yourself out of the race if you haven't nailed something by May 1st. You should put together your application package (CV, cover letter, etc.) prior to any of the career fairs you attend so should you make an impression on someone that day or hear about something ahead of time, you will be prepared!

Summer, Internship and vacation roles will open their doors for application in the July /August period so once again, be ready to apply as soon as the applications open. Check our site for more information on who is hiring and when by either browsing employers or searching for jobs.
Cheers,

Adam

As a member of the Ernst & Young recruitment team, I agree with Adam's comments. Many companies may also look to recruit additional graduates later in the year, but this is often in smaller numbers at ad hoc times. I recommend you keep an eye on this site and company websites to see if any new opportunities open up.

I know that we are currently recruiting for graduates to start in early 2011 for our Brisbane, Canberra and Perth Ernst & Young offices (applications close in August). The job descriptions are listed on this site or you can visit our website http://www.ey.com/au/careers
