Most graduates don't necessarily think of sales as the first place they'd like to start their careers, but it is the sales department which generates the income for any organisation.
Sales will have you speaking with senior executives across all industries on a daily basis. As a recent graduate you could find yourself speaking with the senior marketing manager for an FMCG one afternoon, and then with the managing director for a not-for-profit the next. You will learn how to present Meltwater's services, and develop strong business relationships. Negotiation is a skill you will definitely master, and it's something you can also use elsewhere - negotiating rent, a better price on your new car, or even on your new house!
