Family Lawyers is a community based not for profit organization dedicated to raising funds for the benefit of the children of the Fringes. The main aim of Family Lawyers is to create awareness in communities about the issues affecting the family, foster parents and children in foster care. A Family Lawyers project is undertaken by a group of volunteers who are all part of the network of Family Lawyers. Their aim is to provide a home for all those in the foster care system who need love, understanding and support to make their transition from foster to permanent family more rewarding. By participating in a Family Lawyers program you will be able to learn about the nature of the crisis that exists within the foster care system and how you can make a difference by getting involved.
When you become a Family Lawyers volunteer it will be a great sense of reward for yourself and for your children. In return for your help, they will provide you with an experience that you will never forget. You will work closely with children in the care of abusive parents, you will have the chance to give them a voice, a way of looking up and seeing the world, and you will make a positive impact on the lives of children in the care of unsupportive, irresponsible or negligent parents.
If you want to know more about Family Lawyers and how they are making a difference in the community and wider world, then visit their website today. If you live in Australia, you can join their community of volunteers through their Volunteer Management System. If you live outside of Australia then they have volunteers throughout the country who are willing to travel to new locations and provide service to the community. You can also help in any way that you can, by getting out there and talking to people.
One of the projects that you can participate in if you live in the Fringe is the “Fray Family Care”. This is a centre for foster families, where you can get to know other families like yourself who are in similar situations. This will allow you to learn a lot about what life is like for a foster parent and how you can cope with your own family. You can help to create an atmosphere where all members of the family feel comfortable and are free to express themselves without any fear of judgement.
Another project that you can become involved in if you live in the Fringe is the “pite centre”. Thepite centre is a residential drop-in centre where you can stay overnight as a child with your entire family while receiving help and support. It is a place where a child can come and not feel alone or like the only one at home. The group offers a safe haven from the outside world and lets you come and go as you please. The staff is trained to listen to each child individually and work towards building a strong support system for each family member.
If you are interested in learning more about the different types of therapies that are offered at Family Lawyers then you can visit their website. Their centre offers both counselling services as well as therapy sessions for families in need. If your child is struggling with feelings of isolation or even just shyness then you may want to consider visiting Family Lawyers for an appointment. During your visit you can speak to a counsellor who will assess your child and decide what type of therapy is best for them.
The Family Lawyers centre offers a number of different types of workshops for families. These can include parenting skills, anger management, communication skills, conflict resolution, healthy conflict resolution, food safety and healthy relationship building. They also offer workshops such as how to prepare for a baby shower, tips for welcoming a baby and advice on introducing your child to the rest of the family. As well as these workshops children can attend classes such as Yoga, Art Therapy, Music Therapy and Tai Chi, which help them learn new skills and master ones they already possess.
The Family Lawyers centre is set to provide help and support to families in the community. However, if you are unable to come to their centre you can still give them your support in other ways such as through financial donations. Many people offer their support through family fundraising events and many of them choose to do so during the month of January. To find out more about donating to the Family Lawlers centre contact them on their website or at their offices.
