At Sedgman you have the unique opportunity to experience all parts of a project, from business development to detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations of coal and minerals processing plants.
The Graduate Program is typically two years in duration, during which time Graduates can expect to undertake placements in each of the Company’s business areas such as design, projects, project development, commissioning and operations, either on site or within our corporate head office in Brisbane.
Our Technical Development Plans are based on the real job requirements of the sites and business areas and the personal and professional development needs of the Graduate. Your work will extend beyond your day-to-day tasks to include other development experiences such as a structured professional development program, mentoring by senior professionals, job rotations, career coaching and social activities to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your time with Sedgman.

Our Application Process....
Applications open for our 2009/2010 Graduate Program on Monday 16th June 2008. Candidates will be screened and then may be contacted for a telephone interview. If successful, you will be invited to an Information Night which will provide potential graduates with detailed information on Sedgman as a company as well as the Graduate Program. There will also be an opportunity to talk with discipline team leaders and current graduates about their experiences with the program and what Sedgman has to offer.
Candidates will then be required to undertake psychometric testing prior to the Assessment Centre, to be held on Thursday 7th August 2008. The Assessment Centre will involve both a behavioural interview and a group activity and will be an all day event.
